We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe checkout. Your card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Yes — a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan, counted from when paid billing begins. Request it from Settings → Billing or email support@myroofgenius.com. Refunds are not automatic: a person reviews the charge and processes every eligible refund before any money moves. Requesting opens a request in the billing queue and sends an alert, and we reply by email. Requests within 30 days are refunded (counted from when paid billing begins). We refund the subscription charge under review, minus anything already refunded, back to your original payment method; your bank usually posts it within 5-10 business days.
Yes. MyRoofGenius works on desktops, tablets, and mobile browsers -- no app download required. For estimates, proposals and the comparison table on /pricing, we recommend a tablet or desktop.
All plans include email support to support@myroofgenius.com (a monitored mailbox). Write in and a person reads it; there is no phone line and no on-call rota.
Plans are priced by people. Starter is $49/mo for up to 3 people, Professional is $99/mo for up to 10 people, and Business is $299/mo for unlimited people. Every plan opens the same workspace, with unlimited jobs and estimates and roof checks under fair use. Yes: every plan includes a set number of roof checks each month, with no per-check fee, and plans are priced by the people on your team. Each plan adds a monthly roof-check allowance set well above normal contractor use: Starter 150, Professional 400 and Business 1,500 a month. Before you sign up you get 5 free roof checks per browser each day, no account needed; the trial includes 50 roof checks during the 14-day trial, no card. A roof check turns an address into a source-labelled measurement; if provider-backed photo enrichment is switched on for your plan and runs on the same roof, it counts as a second check, so the two together count as two roof checks. Unused allowance carries forward while the subscription is active. If an account uses its allowance, new roof checks pause until the next renewal adds the next month's allowance, or sooner if you contact support and we raise it. Pausing roof checks never blocks your saved roofs, customers, jobs, estimates, proposals, contracts or invoices. There is no automatic pay-as-you-go or overage charge. Bid confidence: 20 requests per 60 seconds; Pre-walk briefing: 20 requests per 60 seconds; Spec reality check: 15 requests per 60 seconds; Spec review: 15 requests per 60 seconds. These temporary request limits apply separately to each tool per network address, separate from the account's roof-check allowance. If a limit is reached, wait for the retry interval before trying again.
Yes. On the no-card trial there is nothing to cancel; to stop it early, sign out or end it from Billing settings. 14 days free, no card. Pay when you're ready. On a paid plan: Choose monthly billing or annual billing paid upfront for a year. Starter: $49/month or $490/year; Professional: $99/month or $990/year; Business: $299/month or $2,990/year. Cancel from your account settings — your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Yes — change plans any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period. Downgrades also take effect immediately; the remaining days of the current period are not prorated or refunded — the lower price starts on your next invoice, so the best time to downgrade is just before your renewal date. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. Roof checks already on your account stay there through a plan change. A downgrade changes how many roof checks your next renewal adds; it does not take back roof checks you already have. Changing plan mid-period never adds a second month of roof checks for the same invoice.
