How do roof report limits, rollover, and overages work?+-
One analyzed roof counts as one roof report. If the account has no available report credits, new credit-backed roof analysis/report requests are blocked instead of creating a hidden overage charge; usage-metered flows also block requests that would exceed the current plan limit. Subscription renewals add the plan's report credits to the existing account balance rather than wiping unused credits at renewal. There is no automatic pay-as-you-go overage charge: upgrade for more included volume, or contact support when Business volume needs a custom review.
How does the free trial work?+-
Every plan includes a 14-day trial that starts without a card and includes 50 roof reports. Starter includes 25 roof reports/month after trial, so paid access expands from the trial instead of contracting. Use the deterministic calculators and review-gated workflow tools first; provider-backed analysis is clearly labeled when available. Add billing before the trial ends to keep access.
Can I change plans later?+-
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?+-
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Is there a contract or commitment?+-
No contracts. All plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your dashboard settings.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+-
Original analysis uploads are deleted after up to 30 days. Generated reports, PDFs, and saved report artifacts remain available while your account is active until you delete them, and for up to 30 days after cancellation so you can export them. Email support@myroofgenius.com before cancellation if you need a longer export window — we'll work with you.

How accurate are the estimates?+-
MyRoofGenius uses regional pricing data, material specs, and assembly configurations to create a reviewable estimate draft. Address-based measurements come from our own GIS engine on open data — USGS 3DEP LiDAR where public coverage exists — and every result labels its source (LiDAR-derived, imagery-derived footprint, or deterministic fallback). Treat every output as a starting point: verify measurements, site conditions, and scope assumptions before sending a final bid. Provider-backed analysis is clearly labeled when available.
What does the Business plan include?+-
Business includes 200 roof reports/month for standard self-serve use. If your legitimate operational demand exceeds that, contact support so we can review volume, support needs, and whether a custom enterprise buildout should be scoped separately.
