Our Commitment to Transparency
At MyRoofGenius, we believe in honest, substantiated claims about our product's performance. This page explains how we verify and validate any performance claims we make about our platform.
Current Status: Beta
MyRoofGenius is currently in beta testing. During this phase:
- No performance guarantees: We do not make specific percentage claims about accuracy, revenue improvement, or lead generation
- Qualitative benefits: We describe time savings and efficiency improvements qualitatively (e.g., "save time," "improve productivity")
- AI-assisted positioning: All AI features require human review and approval
- Beta disclaimers: Clear warnings that AI suggestions may contain errors
Future Performance Claims
When we have sufficient customer data, we will substantiate performance claims using:
1. Customer Survey Data
Surveys of active customers measuring time savings, productivity improvements, and satisfaction with specific features.
Minimum sample size: 100 active customers, 30+ day usage period
2. Usage Analytics
Aggregated, anonymized data from platform usage showing actual time spent on tasks before and after using AI features.
Methodology: Median time reduction across all users, outliers removed
3. A/B Testing
Controlled testing of features with randomized user groups to measure actual impact on key metrics.
Statistical significance: p < 0.05, confidence interval disclosed
4. Third-Party Validation
Independent verification of claims by qualified third parties where applicable.
Example: Certified accuracy testing for AI estimation models
Disclosure Standards
When we make performance claims, we will always disclose:
- Sample size: Number of customers surveyed or analyzed
- Time period: Date range of data collection
- Methodology: How the claim was calculated
- Variability: Range of results and "typical results" disclaimers
- Context: Any conditions or limitations on the claim
Example: Future Time Savings Claim
Claim: "Customers save an average of 12 hours per week using MyRoofGenius"
Methodology:
- Survey of 250 active customers (30+ days usage)
- Self-reported time savings across estimates, invoices, scheduling
- Survey period: September 1-30, 2025
- Median: 10 hours/week, Mean: 12 hours/week (range: 3-25 hours)
- Disclaimer: "Results vary by business size and usage patterns"
FTC Compliance
We comply with FTC guidelines on advertising substantiation and endorsements:
- Claims based on adequate and well-controlled tests or surveys
- "Typical results" disclosed when showing exceptional outcomes
- No misleading omissions or cherry-picked data
- Testimonials represent actual customer experiences
